We’re Reading at The New Children’s Museum!

Join the creators of ALL FIXED UP for a truly interactive storytelling experience!

It’s almost time for Reading Day at The New Children’s Museum in San Diego, CA! On March 2, the ninth annual Read Across America day and Dr. Seuss’ birthday, Tracy Hopcus Jordan and I are proud to be featured readers in the museum’s member’s only reception.

We will also be answering questions, applying Red Piggy tattoos, and showing off the app, All Fixed Up, in the museum’s general admission areas. Guess what? You are invited!

WHEN: Saturday, March 2, 2013, 10am-4pm (reading takes place at 10:30 in members only area)

WHERE: The New Children’s Museum, 200 W Island Ave  San Diego, CA 92101

COST: General cost of admission. Museum members are free.

RSVP: No rsvp needed, but if you’d like to let us know you’re coming, comment below or RSVP on Facebook!

From 10:30-11am, in the member’s only area downstairs, join us for an interactive reading experience of All Fixed Up — with print, projection, and an interactive screen that kids can touch and change the story as we read along. From 11am-4pm, find our booth on the upper floor.

We are participating in Reading Day because, well, we love to read, and we love The New Children’s Museum’s mission: to stimulate imagination, creativity and critical thinking in children and families through inventive and engaging experiences with contemporary art.

Sound familiar? Red Piggy Press’ mission is to use art and technology to create interactive stories that encourage curiosity, exploration, and discovery.

Visit the museum website for more information about Reading Day. Or download the app to find all the hidden interactions before the big day.

Will we see you there?
